Zipbuds makes the jump from concept to reality
We were just talking about how some concepts never made their way into the real world simply because technology has yet to catch up with the times, but here is one example of it actually making a successful transition – the Zipbuds. The Zipbuds is actually an amalgamation of words – “zipper” and “earbuds”, where the main thrust behind this idea is to get rid of tangled earbuds. Somehow or rather, leave a pair of earbuds alone and chances are they will just gain a life of their own, ending up as a tangled mess in the process. The Zipbuds eliminates that possibility, where it is made from Dupont Kevlar braided cabling, making it more than capable of undertaking just about any adventure with you. As for audio quality, the Zipbuds won’t disappoint, but don’t get your hopes up sky high either as it has been described to use a “patented centralized acoustic ventilation that generates richly detailed audio quality and minimizes Total Harmonic Distortion.” At $40 per pair, this seems to target the young-at-heart with its variety of colors.
