Apple launched several new products at its first event ever at the new Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino. It has quietly launched another product that wasn’t mentioned during the event, for good reason, since it doesn’t really warrant time on the big stage. This product is a pair of new urBeats3 earphones.

These mid-range Beats-branded earphones can be purchased in matte gold, matte silver, and black finishes. Unlike their predecessors the urBeats 2 which were all white with color accents, the new earphones tout color all over. They have a Lightning connector so they will work with the latest iPhone models.

The company claims that the new urBeats 3 earphones have a fine-tuned acoustic design with an axial-aligned driver, secure fit wingtips, and magnetic earbuds.

The earphones have a RemoteTalk button which can be used to wake up Siri, take calls, and control music playback with an easy press of a button.

If you’d like a pair of these new earphones that work with other devices, the company is also selling a version with a 3.5mm standard headphone plug in white, black, gray, and blue finishes.

Apple is going to charge $99.96 for the urBeats 3 earphones when they become available this year in the fall.
