Nioncom MemoryKick Vision pico projector

Ever heard of Nioncom before? Neither have we, but that doesn’t mean a relatively unknown device manufacturer should remain obscure forever. The company intends to make a splash in the pico projector market with their MemoryKick Vision device, where it will arrive Stateside sometime in Q2 this year. Using a similar technology which is found in the PicoP projector prototype from MicroVision, it comes with better hardware specifications such as a more generous 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a 2.5-inch hard drive that can hold up to 1TB of storage space while sacrificing its thickness in the process, a 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, HDMI In and Out, an SD memory card slot, a USB slot and Android 2.2 as the operating system of choice. There is still no word on pricing, but Nioncom intends for it to sell somewhere in the region of $500 thereabouts.
