HTC Merge finally official
HTC has finally made the HTC Merge official. Through a press release today, the Taiwanese mobile phone manufacturer announced that their upcoming QWERTY-toting Android smartphone will be made available through multiple North American carriers this spring. The HTC Merge has been floating around as a rumored device since late last year, and some people even thought the phone to be cancelled. Well after all the delays, we now know that it’s not because the phone was going to get a 4G radio (it only supports 3G) but it’s going to be a world phone instead. This makes the Merge, HTC’s first ever Android-based CDMA world phone. Specs of the HTC Merge: 3.8″ touchscreen, Android 2.2, Slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel camera, 3G world phone capability, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth. Anyone excited?
