LG Revolution spotted running on Android 2.2.2

The LG Revolution was caught in Barcelona (where MWC 2011 action’s at) running on Android 2.2.2, which does come across as a surprise. As you all know, it has been the gospel truth that Android OS updates always arrives on Google’s own phone first – a tradition that started off with the Google Nexus One, and followed by the Nexus S (which was manufactured by Samsung). Basically, Android 2.2.2 is a new build of Froyo which has been made available to Nexus One users as it fixes a bunch of bugs, hence pushing it down the pecking order in terms of importance. After all, 2.2.2 brings it closer to Android 2.3 Gingerbread, as the LG Revolution is tipped to arrive in anyways.
