foxLv2 PLATINUM Bluetooth portable speaker announced

Soundmatters foxLv2 PLATINUM

The folks over at Soundmatters have just introduced a new addition to its lineup of foxL high quality portable speakers founded by former NASA engineer/audio legend Dr. Godehard Guenther. Called the foxLv2 PLATINUM Bluetooth, it has new performance features including CSR apt-X which dramatically improves the quality of audio that is streamed over Bluetooth from apt-X equipped devices (i.e. Apple Snow Leopard and Lion computers). It delivers virtual CD quality audio, as well as improves the sound/picture sync for both movies and gaming.

Shedding its previous all-black attire, the foxLv2 PLATINUM features a platinum finish, and has a touted battery life of 10 hours or more of music (20 hours if Bluetooth is off). For folks who don’t have any Bluetooth music sources, a bundled Audioquest cable lets you feed music to the speaker. It also packs a built-in noise-cancelling microphone for making speakerphone calls. The Soundmatters foxLv2 PLATINUM will be available in November 2011 and will be priced at $229. Find out more.
