CruxFLIP prides itself as first case-stand-book cover

There are dozens of accessories for the iPad as well as iPad 2 in the market, so which are truly worth your time? Well, you know the saying – if you want something done (right), then you’d better do it yourself. Someone decided to come up with the first case-stand-book cover for Apple’s tablets, and it remains a concept at this moment unless you are able to help it achieve its goal of hitting $12,500 in 29 days’ time. Known as CruxFLIP, this is touted to be the world’s first case-stand-book cover that boasts a 360 degree hinge.

The 360 degree hinge will enable you to position your iPad’s display to any angle between 0 to 90 degrees, making it ideal to place it in your lap or on top of a table. Among the other features of the CruxFLIP include the ability to protect your iPad from dings and scratches, Smart Cover functionality, a magnetic closure to ensure the cover remains closed, strong hinges and cutouts that lets you access all iPad buttons and ports in a jiffy.

Tipping the scales at a mere 400 grams, it adds just 8mm of thickness to your iPad – not too shabby, no?
