HTC reports stellar results for Q3 2011

If you’re wondering about how well HTC did in Q3 2011, you’ll be glad to know that its latest financial report posts stellar results. The company reported that its net income rose to about $624.6 million this quarter – a 68% increase over Q3 2010 and a 7% increase over last quarter (HTC’s highest quarter to date) which means the company broke records again. And if you’re interested in knowing, the company shipped 13.2 million units in the third quarter this year.

The reason for the company’s success? Its focus in China, on LTE devices (in certain parts of the world i.e. US, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong) and entry-level phones (the HTC Wildfire is said to be a top-seller). Nothing seems to be able to stop this company that’s been improving every quarter, and the company expects to do better in the next quarter as well. The holiday season is up next, so it’s going to be interesting to see whether HTC can continue weaving its quietly brilliant magic.
