It is in the middle of the night, and everyone was soundly asleep – so much so that you can hear a pin drop, and even the best trained ninja would have been unable to sneak past all the guards without making a sound. Guess that is having my imagination get the better of me, as T-Mobile’s Springboard has made it past the FCC after being spotted at CTIA just last week.
In other words, the Springboard is also the Huawei Media Pad, and it remains to be seen whether other carriers Stateside will also offer the Huawei Media Pad or will it remain as a T-Mobile exclusive Stateside. Basically, you get a 7″ display with a 1.2GHz dual core processor, and 1,280 x 800 resolution. The T-Mobile Springboard also boasts 16GB of storage space, with a 5-megapixel rear camera that does HD video recording in addition to its front facing camera helping you make video calls.
No idea on whether this will be Wi-Fi only, or is there a 3G or 4G version that is planned and on the way?
