HTC UK has announced that they will be delivering the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update to a wide range of devices sometime early next year – which will most probably happen in the first quarter in our estimate. As for the handsets in question, they would comprise of the HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation XL and HTC Sensation XE, as well as the recently annonuced HTC Rezound, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO Design 4G and HTC Amaze 4G. Bear in mind that the HTC Rezound, EVO Design 4G and Amaze 4G would be US-based handsets. I guess this kind of confirmation should be good enough for folks who want to purchase a new phone and yet wonder whether those handsets will be getting an Android 4.0 upgrade or not – there you have it.
