ASUS Transformer Prime accessory shows up on Amazon Germany

The ASUS Transformer Prime tablet has yet to be launched, but if you’re looking to start checking out new accessories before the tablet arrives on your doorstep, you might be interested in taking a look at this Origami-like smart cover accessory for the ASUS Transformer Prime.

The accessory was discovered on Amazon Germany and is retailing for €39 (~$53), but no word on when it will ship. We’re guessing it should start shipping when the tablet starts shipping as well. This is a rather unique accessory as users will be able to fold the cover into a stand that props the tablet up.

Apart from that unique feature, we’re guessing that its magnetic properties will also accomplish what the iPad’s Smart Cover does, which is to put the screen to sleep when covered, and to activate the display when taken off.
