Google is not one to be complacent, which explains where it is as a company today. Well, the Google+ social network has just been refreshed, receiving a major redesign in the process in addition to a bunch of new features for those enjoying the social network aspect of it. Regular users would have realized that navigation and several user interface features on Google+ pages have received a visual makeover, while the inclusion of new features intend to be the “selling point” of Google+, and indirectly, end up with more users so that they can share their photos with one another, while promoting additional interaction and conversations.

Things have gotten simpler with the graphical overhaul, delivering a cleaner and more minimalist which will match some of Google’s more recent updates to other applications such as Gmail. There is also a new “ribbon” of icons that offers simplified access to home, profile, pages, and photos. These same icons can also be customized according to your own preference, ending up with a streamlined look that comprises of icons that resemble apps.

Not all users will get to enjoy the new design, as this is a staggered rollout. If you have not yet received the new design update, just be patient, and it will happen eventually to your Google+ account.
