Most of us who own a laptop use it mainly for work – very rarely would you find someone, with enough money just to buy a desktop or a laptop, choose the latter and game with it. Well, for folks who already have a primary gaming machine and yet want to get their gaming fix on the go, there is always the Origin PC EON 11-S gaming laptop which comes with a rather paltry 11.6″ display. Yes, your eyes will not be able to “enjoy” that much of a view, but at least it gets the job done when you are waiting in between flights and want to complete just one more quest.

Not only that, the Origin PC EON 11-S gaming laptop can be said to be relatively affordable, retailing for a mere $999, delivering an 11.6″ display at 1366 x 768 pixels, running on a 2.2 GHz Intel B960 Pentium dual-core processor, accompanied by NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M graphics, 4GB RAM, a 320GB 7200RPM hard drive, 7.1 channel audio, and Windows 7 Home Premium as the operating system of choice. You can, of course, throw in more dough to soup it up more such as quadrupling the amount of RAM, getting a larger capacity hard drive or a faster solid state disk.

Connectivity options on the Origin PC EON 11-S gaming laptop are decent enough – a couple of USB 3.0 ports are in the picture, coupled with a solitary USB 2.0 port, alongside an HDMI 1.4a output, VGA port, Ethernet jack, and headphone and microphone jacks. The 6-cell battery is said to be good for up to 6.5 hours of run time, although I am quite sure if you were to use it for pure gaming sessions, that figure is going to get shaved off considerably.
