Prospective customers will find a 4” Super AMOLED touchscreen display, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Scorpion processor under its hood, a 5MP rear-facing camera with 720p HD video capture, a 1.3MP front-facing camera and last of all, it will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread as opposed to the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. No word if the Galaxy Exhilarate will be upgraded to Android 4.0 in the future, but in the mean time owners of the device will be stuck with Gingerbread for now.
Interestingly AT&T has marketed this device as having environmentally-friendly features, such as a rear-casing that has been made from 80% recycled waste and a low-load, energy-efficient charger that will alert owners when the phone has been fully charged. If this sounds like a device you wouldn’t mind spending $50 on, expect it to go on sale next week.
