Refreshed iMacs may come in 2013 according to Apple exec
Prior to WWDC’s keynote address yesterday morning, many had expected Apple to unveil a refresh of their Mac series of computers. Apple did not disappoint and took the wraps off their refreshed range of MacBook laptops, like the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and the Retina-display next-gen MacBook Pro. However what they did not announce was refreshed hardware for the Mac Pro and the iMac. The former was quietly updated but the latter still remains the same. According to The New York Times’ David Pogue, a report he wrote on Monday revealed that according to an Apple executive, it seems that for those looking forward to a refresh iMac, they might have to wait until 2013. Apple naturally did not comment on the matter so we’ll treat this with a degree of skepticism for now. Assuming that Apple does indeed refresh it in 2013, it seems that for now, the iMac appears to be on the path of the Mac Pro.
