The good people over at the FCC have had a go at the Sony Xperia Go, which means once it has gained regulatory approval, it is going to make its way to the market, very, very soon. It just took a few weeks for the Xperia Go to be announced before it has made its way to the FCC for an approval before it is released to the masses. Bear in mind that it is the international version that has made the trip over to the FCC, meaning it will play nice with GSM and EDGE networks where US mobile carriers are concerned. As for the 900MHz and 2,100MHz HSPA bands which the Xperia Go carries, it is meant for use on the 3G band in other parts of the world. Well, having said that, it means the smartphone is being prepared for an international release later this summer. For folks living in the US who want to be an early adopter, you can always place an order for an imported model if that is your cup of tea.
