HTC Desire X officially announced

It wasn’t too long ago that we saw the HTC Desire X’s photos leaked, and while this might not be the rumored 5” HTC device that some of you guys were looking forward to, it might still be of interest to those who wouldn’t mind getting their hands on a entry level-ranged device, a pretty good looking one at that. Based on the official press shots, it certainly looks like the Desire X is a mini version of the One X, although under the hood it is only sporting a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 4GB of internal storage. It will also pack a 4” SLCD display, a 5MP rear-facing camera, Sense 4.1, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and Beats Audio Integration. It is scheduled for release in Europe and Asia in September, although there is no word on when it will be making its way to the US. So, any takers?
