Verizon’s LG Optimus Vu could be the Intuition

LG’s reply to the Samsung Galaxy Note when it came to the phablet market was in the form of the LG Optimus Vu, offering all 5″ of viewing goodness to boot. Well, we do know that the LG Optimus Vu is making its way to the circles of Verizon Wireless, and there are some anonymous tipsters who have spoken to the folks over at Droid-Life, (hence the watermark in the images above) touting that Verizon will rename the LG Optimus Vu by calling it the “4G LTE Intuition by LG”. Seriously, does a piece of hardware like a phablet need such an obnoxiously long name? You could have just called it the LG Intuition without the 4G LTE suffix, and the world would have moved on nicely (and I would have had to type less words). It seems that the LG Intuition will retail for $199.99 on contract, but if you want to pick it up sans contract, then it will cost you $549.99 a pop. Those rocking to Verizon can look forward to a phablet from LG in due time.
