Isis mobile wallet to debut in Google Play come 22nd of October according to leaked T-Mobile screenshot

When it comes to the mobile wallet scene, two particular services have been talked about – Isis, the joint effort between AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon, and Google Wallet, a collaboration between Google and Sprint. Well the good news for T-Mobile customers looking to get in on the mobile wallet scene is that thanks to TmoNews, they have managed to get their hands on what appears to be a screenshot of T-Mobile’s internal system that reveals that come 22nd of October, Isis will be debuting their mobile wallet app in the Google Play store.

For those unfamiliar, Isis is a mobile wallet feature that allows companies like Chase, Capital One, and Barclaycard to include their credit, debit and prepaid cards into the mobile wallet, which ultimately lets users pay for items using their mobile device. Of course there is a catch in the sense that users will need an Isis SIM card which is only available at retail stores in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Austin, Texas. Secondly not all devices are supported and at the moment, supported devices include the Samsung Galaxy S3, the Galaxy S2 and the Relay 4G. Either way we expect more support to be added in the future, so we just have to play the waiting game for now.
