2014 Cadillac ELR Confirmed For Debut In January

The world is slowly but surely moving to a greener get up, and apart from homes and our lifestyle, cars, too, play a vital role in ensuring that there is an earth worth living on for the next generation. In fact, General Motors just confirmed that the 2014 Cadillac ELR model will be debuting officially from next month onwards at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. The 2014 Cadillac ELR has undergone testing earlier this year, where it relied on a similar range-extended electric drive system that is found on the Chevrolet Volt, and if you were to study the rather shadow-laden image above, it seems to us that the coupe’s styling has remained pretty much similar to the 2009 Converj Concept.

The 2014 Cadillac ELR will be a two-door vehicle, where it will be rolling off at GM’s Detroit-Hamtramck plant from later next year, accompanied by the Volt. Other than that, Cadillac has not revealed anything else for the public to know concerning the ride, so that means we just have to wait for three and a half weeks more until January 15 passes by our calendar. And yes, this means the world will not end this Friday…
