[MWC 2013]Lenovo makes solid performing computers, that we know, but how about tablets? Sure, we’ve seen hybrid ultrabook-tablets like the Yoga series in the past, but here we are with dedicated tablets from Lenovo that will run on the Android operating system. Kicking things off would be the Lenovo S6000, dubbed as a mobile “Home Entertainment” center, where it will run on a quad-core 1.2GHz processor, accompanied by a 10.1-inch IPS display at 1,280 x 800 resolution and a 178-degree viewing angle, a micro HDMI port and digital microphone, Wi-Fi and optional HSPA+ connectivity, all crammed into a chassis that is 8.6mm slim and 560 grams light.

As for the Lenovo A3000, it will run on a similar quad-core 1.2GHz processor, albeit coming in a smaller 7-inch form factor at 1,024 x 600 resolution, weighing under 340 grams with a thickness of 11mm, cramming in a microSD memory card slot and optional 3G HSPA+ support to boot. Last but not least, the Lenovo A1000 that looks like the A3000 at first glance, but the back will have a “Dolby Digital Plus” logo printed, powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the operating system of choice. Just in case the 16GB of internal memory is not enough, a microSD memory card slot comes in handy for expansion purposes.

All three tablets will arrive worldwide from Q2 onwards, and pricing details have yet to be specified. [Press Release]
