Motorola, Samsung, Apple, BlackBerry, LG, Nokia, Huawei, these we all have heard and read about them daily in the news when it comes to mobile devices, especially smartphones and tablets. What do you know about BLU Products? My point exactly, not much, although they claim to be one of the fastest growing mobile phone manufacturers in the world. Having said that, BLU Products have announced their latest BLU LIFE Series of smartphone devices that will run on MediaTek’s MT6589 1.2GHz quad-core chipset that brings together a power-efficient ARM Cortex-A7 subsystem, PowerVR Series5XT GPU, and HSPA+ 41Mbps modem.

The BLU Life One comprises of a solid aluminum body, sporting an IPS 5” HD display with Gorilla Glass 2 protection, a 13-megapixel shooter at the back that does HD video recording, a 5-megapixel camera in front, 16GB ROM, 1GB RAM, and a microSD card slot, retailing for $299 a pop.

As for the BLU Life View, this will fall under phablet category with its IPS 5.7-inch HD display, accompanied by a 12-megapixel autofocus camera at the back with LED flash, 16GB ROM and 1GB RAM, in addition to a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes. It too, will retail for $299 unlocked.

Last but not least would be the BLU Life Play that will target a stylish and younger generation, where its slim 7.9mm design will hold an IPS 4.7-inch HD display, an 8-megapixel autofocus back camera, 4GB ROM, 1GB RAM, and a microSD memory card slot. The BLU Life Play is the most affordable of the lot at $229 a pop, unlocked. [Press Release]
