Only recently T-Mobile announced that it was going contract free and revealed its new un-carrier plans. While other major U.S. carriers are yet to react on this, Virgin Mobile has already started a campaign in which it is offering $100 to pre-existing customers that will ditch T-Mobile for their network. Customers are being enticed to switch over to Virgin Mobile’s prepaid service which runs on Sprint’s network.

Pre-existing T-Mobile customers have to choose a new phone offered by Virgin Mobile, such as Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE and the Samsung Galaxy S II 4G. Then they’ll pick a Virgin prepaid plan. Payment has to be made by 31st of May. The $100 credit will be given to customers within the first 30 days of them switching their number to Virgin. Virgin is not offering $100 credit to those who have devices are compatible with Sprint’s network and don’t need to purchase a new one. The offer is only for customers switching over from T-Mobile and buying a new phone from Virgin. Virgin is pricing phones lower than T-Mobile which is just another reason for customers to consider ditching T-Mobile.
