HTC One Production Volume Set To Double

The HTC One is the Taiwanese smartphone company’s latest flagship device, where it was first revealed in February earlier this year. So far, it has earned pretty rave reviews and we do know that this could very well be the smartphone that could help the beleaguered company get back on track. Originally, HTC was meant to roll out the HTC One before its great rival, the Samsung Galaxy S4 hit the market. Unfortunately, HTC was plagued with supply issues for its HTC One launch, and it seems that the Taiwanese company is finally ready to get rocking after they have sorted out their production issues, where it is now ready to double up its production from this month onwards as compared to April.

This means there will no longer be the reason of component shortages being cited for the lack of HTC One units in the market. According to HTC North Asia president Jack Tong, “Our capacity is expected to rise significantly starting from mid-May. We are optimistic about our high-end sales during April and June.” We are glad to know that their supply issues concerning the UltraPixel camera has been sorted out – a case of better late than never, no?
