HTC One With ‘Nexus Experience’ Official, Coming June 26 For $600

HTC has finally announced that it is indeed releasing the ‘Google edition’ of HTC One. They’re actually calling it the HTC One with ‘Nexus User Experience.’ The 32GB device will be initially available in the U.S. from 26th June only through Google Play Store, its obviously unlocked and retails for $600. Since Galaxy S4 ‘Google edition’ was announced back at I/O 2013, there were many rumors that a similar version of HTC One was going to be released. Though the company initially denied it, now they’ve formally made this announcement.

The major difference between a ‘Nexus Experience’ HTC One and a conventional one is pretty simple. Its all in the software, the new one comes with stock Android. What this means is that the device will run on pure unadulterated Android 4.2.2 OS, there will be no HTC Sense and no bloatware. Apart from that, everything is the same, there’s no difference in hardware specifications or features. So this version is finally out of the box now, perhaps we might see HTC One in blue and red colors soon as well? Lets hope so.

Update: HTC confirms that there’s no Beats Audio Switch, no IR Blaster and the HTC camera app is replaced by stock Android camera experience.
