Alleged iPhone 5S Specs Revealed

iphone5s21One of the ways Apple markets its iPhone devices is not by placing the emphasis on its hardware specs, but rather its features. However with Android manufacturers aggressively marketing hardware specs, we’re sure many are curious as to how iPhones might hold up against the competition. While the iPhone 5S has yet to announced, Chinese website EXPreview has posted the alleged specs of the iPhone 5S along with a couple of photos of the phone in production. According to their report, the iPhone 5S will continue using the Swift dual-core architecture, but it will come with improved graphics.

The original three-core PowerVR SGX543MP3 GPU will be seeing an upgrade to a quad-core PowerVR SGX554MP4 GPU. The phone will also see its amount of RAM double to 2GB, and the phone will sport a new 12MP camera, a dual-LED light fill which we have seen in alleged leaked photos, support for LTE-advanced, a fingerprint scanner, and NFC technology. The leaked images also shows that the iPhone 5S will retain the same design and form factor as the iPhone 5, which isn’t surprising given the history of “S” devices released by Apple in the past. In any case it sounds like the iPhone 5S could be quite a nice upgrade, but since it isn’t official, take it with a grain of salt for now!
