It is already widely believed that Amazon is working on three new tablets that it will launch in the near future. One of these tablets is said to be the replacement for Amazon’s entry level Kindle Fire tablet, whereas the other two are said to be replacements for current Kindle Fire HD models. BGR claims to have received information regarding the specifications of these tablets from “multiple trusted sources.”

For the 7 inch Kindle Fire HD tablet, a 1,920×1,200 pixel resolution display has been rumored alongside a new design. It is reportedly powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and Adreno 330 graphics processor. Sources suggest that prototypes of this tablet are clocked at 2GHz. RAM is said to be 2GB, front-facing camera and Android 4.2.2 with Amazon’s customizations has also been rumored.

Then comes the 8.9 inch Kindle Fire HD that is expected to be released this fall. Hardware specifications are reportedly similar to the 7 inch model, though display is said to tout 2,560×1,600 pixel resolution. This particular model is said to have an eight megapixel rear camera, whereas it is believed that the 7 inch model won’t have a rear camera at all. 16GB, 32GB and 64GB flavors are expected for both models, whereas the entry level Kindle Fire tablet is likely to come in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB flavors. Amazon is reportedly going to release these new tablets in September.
