Motorola’s latest Android flagship smartphone was one of the most hotly anticipated devices this summer. The rumor mill was abuzz with rumors and leaks on a daily basis prior to the smartphone’s launch on August 1st. Motorola has announced the device and the carriers that will be offering it in the U.S. have also been revealed. Though none of the carriers have given a release date as yet. It is believed that Moto X will be launched by the country’s largest carrier on August 23rd, two rumors hint at that possibility. Now according to an alleged Best Buy internal inventory screenshot, Verizon Moto X will become available at the retailer from August 29th.

The same screenshot also reveals that stores are expected to receive stock on August 15th, well before the purported launch date. Verizon is yet to say anything about the launch date, so we’ll have to wait for an official announcement from the Big Red before we can really be sure about the release date. Just yesterday Verizon put up its signup page for the Moto X, those who submit their emails there will be notified when the carrier officially launches the device. [Image via AndroidCentral]
