all-of-duty-ghosts

Call of Duty: Ghosts was released this week, with its sales already reaching record-breaking proportions as Activision announced the title raked in $1 billion just in its first day of sales. Call of Duty: Ghosts’ sales are expected to jump even more so when the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are released in the next couple of weeks, but reviews of the title running on Sony’s next-generation platform claim there are problems with its graphics.

According to several reviewers, the PlayStation 4 version of Call of Duty: Ghosts suffered from a stutter-effect due to its frame rate dropping at several points during the game. The issue could be due to Call of Duty: Ghosts on the PlayStation 4 runs at 1080p, while the Xboe One and Wii U versions only run the game at 720p.

We have contacted Activision to see if any of these reports are true, and if they are, if the company plans on fixing the situation through a patch in the future. It would be a shame if a next-generation console owner experiences a launch game that suffers these kinds of problems, although this is also one of the reasons why many people don’t purchase a console at its launch.
