It is widely tipped that Microsoft will lift up the veil on a bunch of new mobile devices that will have display sizes which are no larger than 8.5”, where these new devices will be powered by an integrated operating system that has been derived from Windows RT and Windows Phone. This is expected to happen later this June, at least this is what manufacturers in Taiwan’s supply chain have shared. June would most probably point to Computex Taipei 2014 as the event of choice, although this particular information has yet to be officially confirmed by Microsoft so we will just take these rumors with a pinch of salt at the moment.
Will such an integration process affect both Windows 8 and PC products? Only time will be able to tell, so it would work in the best interest of everyone to pop in a patience pill.
