LG 2014 TV Lineup Introduced In South Korea

lg-new-tvsLG Electronics has just introduced their TV range for this year in South Korea, where you would have to wrap your mind around a total of 68 new models. Yes sir, with that many models available for purchase, it is truly a mind boggling experience, where among the 68 new models t be made available, they will include ULTRA HD TVs in various sizes that range anywhere from 49” to 105”, making it the largest collection to date. Some of the new models would include LG’s ground breaking 105-inch Curved ULTRA HD TV that has already garnered its fair share of fans, apart from the smaller 65”, 55” and 49” curved 4K TVs.

Other that bigger and better models, what else is new for the masses from LG? Well, it seems that the webOS Smart TV platform that was first unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in early January this year too, will make a splash. LG has high hopes that this will be the absolute new standard when it comes to the smart TV market, touting the platform’s openness and ease-of-use. With so many TV models being made available, you know for sure that it is time to start saving up for a replacement TV, right?

Hyun-hwoi Ha, president and CEO of the LG Electronics Home Entertainment Company, shared, “We are extremely confident that our state-of-the-art ULTRA HD and OLED TV models will establish a new benchmark this year. With our strong competitiveness in display technology including ULTRA IPS, CINEMA 3D and the unrivalled simplicity of the webOS Smart TV platform, we are optimistic that in 2014, LG will be the one to watch in the TV industry.” [Press Release]
