Far Cry fans, here is something for you to cry over – in joy, of course. I am referring to the announcement that Far Cry 4, which is also the latest installment of the critically and player acclaimed FPS series, is all set to debut on the Sony PS4 as well as its predecessor, the Sony PS3, later this coming November 18th in North America.
They say that too much of a good thing is bad, but with Far Cry 4, you can expect to look forward to a similar unique, open-world gameplay which has managed to help this game stand head above shoulders from the other more traditional shooters. In Far Cry 4, the game will be set in Kyrat, which is a breathtaking, perilous, and wild region of the Himalayas that is currently dealing with the regime of a despotic, self-appointed king.
Unlike more “normal” FPS titles, in Far Cry 4 you will find yourself armed to the teeth with a slew of weapons, animals, and vehicles, not to mention boasting of a highly detailed and interactive open-world that will enable players to be more liberal as they write their own story across an exotic and varied landscape. Those who have enough faith to place a pre-order for Far Cry 4 will be on the receiving end of a free upgrade to the Limited Edition which will boast of Hurk’s Redemption, a series of three action-packed, single-player missions.
As for those who are rocking to the Xbox One and Xbox 360 as well as the PC, Far Cry 4 too, will make an appearance on these platforms on the same date. [Press Release]
