Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A To Hit Europe

Earlier this morning, the world was abuzz with word that the long awaited Samsung Galaxy Alpha has been officially revealed, putting to bed once and for all the rumors associated with this particular metal-clad device. However, there were also whispers of a different Galaxy S5 variant not too long ago as well, citing the possibility of a Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A edition emerging. It seems that those rumors are starting to place some flesh over the bones, as the user manual for the Samsung SM-G901F that will head in the direction of the EU leaked out. In a nutshell, there is a very real possibility of Europeans getting their hands on the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A in due time.

The launch could happen as soon as this month throughout several key European markets, as this particular variant did undergo a benchmark test quite recently. It will be different from the Korean model however, since it will make use of a Full HD display, instead of the QHD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution that the Korean model employs.

Still, take heart that the upgraded chipset will remain, which means it ought to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC rather than the older Snapdragon 801 which resides within the regular Samsung Galaxy S5.
