Nikon Coolpix S6900 Jumps Aboard The Selfie Bandwagon In A Bigger Manner

nikon-s6900So, there was the release of the Nikon D750 earlier today, and accompanying that is the Nikon Coolpix S6900 which allows you to shoot in a more expressive manner where selfies are concerned. After all, the Coolpix S6900 lets you capture memories from a wide range of angles, and it does open up new doors to help you explore your creativity. The Coolpix S6900 makes all of that possible thanks to its vari-angle LCD monitor.

Meant to continue from where its predecessor, the Coolpix S6600 left off, this is the first S-Series Coolpix device that will sport a vari-angle LCD monitor. Apart from that, it will also adopt a brand new camera stand, and sporting a front shutter-release button, the Coolpix S6900 would be more than a decent candidate for decent looking selfies.

Not only that, there is also a Gesture Control function which will allow you to control the Coolpix S6900 using the Force – nay, with a wave of the palm of your hand, which is certainly cool when you think about it. Do expect an effective pixel count of 16 million pixels, accompanied by a backside illumination CMOS image sensor, a lens-shift vibration reduction (VR) function, and a NIKKOR lens which can support not only 12x optical zoom and 24x Dynamic Fine Zoom, but also has integrated NFC and Wi-Fi connectivity to boot.
