Gamers waiting on the PlayStation 4 exclusive title Bloodborne will have to remain patient for longer now. It has been confirmed today that the Bloodborne PS4 release has been delayed. The confirmation came from Masaaki Yamagiwa on the official PlayStation Blog. If you’re wondering who he is, Yamagiwa is a producer at Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Studio.

Bloodborne, announced back at the E3 conference this year, is a title that’s exclusive to Sony PlayStation 4. It is an action-RPG being developed at From Software, which is also the studio behind Dark Souls.

The release date for Bloodborne was confirmed back in September when a new trailer was also released. At that time it was said that Bloodborne PS4 release is going to take place on February 6th in North America and Europe.

Today Yamagiwa, the producer of this game, writes that it has been “slightly delayed.” Work on the development continues and this step is being taken “to deliver the best possible final experience.” He adds that the feedback from those who participated in the limited Alpha test was helpful and this extra production time will also go towards integrating that feedback.

I won’t keep you guessing any longer. Bloodborne is now scheduled for release only on the PS4 come March 24th, 2015. Yamagiwa has promised “some exciting Bloodborne news” early next month, we’ll update you as soon as it comes in.
