Samsung Galaxy S6 Could Feature Galaxy Note Edge’s Curved Display [Rumor]

Samsung-galaxy-Note-4-edge-02Come 2015, we can only assume that Samsung will be introducing the next handset in their Galaxy S-lineup – the Galaxy S6. We’re sure many are wondering whether with the Galaxy S6, will Samsung be utilizing the same metal build that they did for the Galaxy Alpha series? While that remains to be seen, one interesting possibility has popped up.

According to an analyst, it has been suggested that Samsung could take some cues from the Galaxy Note Edge and apply it to the Galaxy S6. Instead of having one side of the phone which is curved, Samsung might make both sides of the Galaxy S6’s display curved. Apparently this will not only solve the issue of being right-handed biased, but will help boost profits for Samsung Display in the process, or so the analyst claims.

Now this does sound like a bit of a stretch. After all the Galaxy Note Edge did feel a bit like a experiment/concept, so to apply that to the company’s flagship phone does seem like a bit of a risk. However an earlier report has revealed that Samsung could be approaching the Galaxy S6 with a completely new vision, although exactly what that entails remains to be seen.

So far we have heard some rumored specs for the Galaxy S6 which includes a QHD display, a camera with a larger megapixel count, an octa-core Exynos chipset, along with a new LTE model developed in-house by Samsung. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but how does the idea of a Galaxy Note Edge design applied to the Galaxy S6 sound to you?
