The Nexus 6 is an expensive smartphone. It costs as much as flagships from other OEMs do and that’s because this time around the Nexus device has been spec’d up to the max. This obviously translates into a price increase but if you’re out in the market for one Sprint is offering you an enticing price for it. Only a couple of days after it started selling the device Sprint has now reduced the Nexus 6 price by $50.

Those who want to purchase the Nexus 6 from Sprint outright will now have to pay $648 as opposed to the original price of $696. The carrier is selling Nexus 6 32GB in Midnight Blue for $249 with a two year contract, just a few days back this very same configuration was going for $299 with a two year contract.

Customers who would rather pick it up on the carrier’s Easy Pay plan will get the benefit of this discount as well. They’ll have to pay equal monthly payments for 24 months of $27, as opposed to $29, which was the original price on the installment plan.

Those who have already purchased the Nexus 6 from Sprint before the $50 discount went into effect need not worry. To those customers Sprint is offering $50 in bill credit.

The cherry on top is that this isn’t a promotion, Sprint has permanently reduced $50 on the Nexus 6.
