T-Mobile’s Nexus 6 Promises An Unadulterated Experience

nexus-6-review-material-design-1So we have heard reports of how the Nexus 6 from AT&T will come with bloatware and will have its SIM card lock along with carrier ringtones preinstalled on it. It almost kind of defeats the purpose of owning a Nexus handset as Nexus users tend to choose the device as it offers an unadulterated experience devoid of any influence from OEMs or carriers.

Well given that AT&T and T-Mobile are rivals, it seems that T-Mobile has recently taken advantage of those complaints to brag about the company’s Nexus 6, in which they claim they will offer up the Nexus 6 as it is and as Google had intended it to be. This is according to T-Mobile’s product manager Des Smith who bragged about it on his Google+ page.

According to Smith, “No Corporate Logo, No Bloatware, no crap you don’t want on the #Nexus6 from +T-Mobile.” While Smith did not directly mention any names, it is clear that the jab was aimed straight at AT&T’s heart as the carrier has come under slight fire for the modifications they have made to the handset.

In fact not only is AT&T’s Nexus 6 receiving flack for the modifications, but recently it seems that handsets were being recalled as Motorola had accidentally installed incorrect software on the phone, ultimately leading to users ending up with a phone that doesn’t work. So, will you be picking up your Nexus 6 from T-Mobile?
