Apparently, a drone operator over in Australia was rather surprised after underestimating just what an irritated kangaroo is capable of. After all, you do fly your drone around animals at your own peril, as you can see from this example here. Just like how us humans hate for our privacy to be invaded, I suppose the same would apply to select animals, too.
The drone was busy going about trying to film Eastern grey kangaroos in Australia’s Hunter Valley, and when it got too close for comfort to a doe and her little one, she was naturally enraged as her protective instincts kicked in immediately, where she did give the drone a good whack to send it flying to the ground. Needless to say, the drone has croaked, but thankfully, as everyone on YouTube is able to see, the footage was hardier than the drone itself.
