yotaphone2While many a smartphone already has enough trouble trying to remain alive for a full day of use with one display alone, here is the dual display YotaPhone 2 which is touted to roll out via a major US carrier some time later this year. First released in December last year to select countries in Europe, the YotaPhone 2 will, at long last, make the long trek over to the US. Yota’s Matthew Kelly (Managing Director for the Americas) was quoted by Android Central that the smartphone will be introduced Stateside through one of the four major US carriers – although which particular one remains to be known.

However, if one were to perform certain degree of deduction, the YotaPhone 2, being a GSM/HSPA/LTE device, will most probably be offered by the likes of AT&T or T-Mobile, as opposed to Verizon or Sprint. Needless to say, nothing is confirmed just yet, and there are also scant details on how much it will cost – although if one were to look across the pond for some sort of ballpark figure, then those in Europe would be able to pick up the YotaPhone 2 for approximately $600 after conversion – unlocked. Would you be interested in picking up a dual display handset?
