Samsung’s 64-Bit Optimized TouchWiz Set For Galaxy S6 Rollout

In a page that is not too different from that of what Apple applied to their iOS mobile operating system, Samsung has decided to match the 64-bit Exynos and Android 5.0 Lollipop kernel, which means Samsung could very well roll out a 64-bit-optimized TouchWiz for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 flagship, and no doubt that this will include a completely rewritten stock dialer, messaging, gallery, and other apps, among others.

This particular bit of information hails from Poland over in Europe, which is where Samsung happens to own a rather monstrous research & development center, and it is through this channel that we have heard about leaks to software update builds happening, or perhaps whispers of upcoming handsets – the Note range, especially. Apart from that, it is said that the 64-bit optimized TouchWiz is set for a release in Poland this coming March 27th, which should not be too far down the road.

There are whispers going around that Samsung will not only trim and overhaul TouchWiz, the South Korean conglomerate will also offer its embedded apps as separate downloads on the Galaxy S6 in order not to mess around with the working interface’s overall fluidity without a good reason.
