Alleged New Moto 360 Teased Before Image Was Deleted

moto-360-2nd-gen-lenovoTeasers are definitely not new or surprising in the world of consumer electronics, and with the proliferation of social media, you can be sure that there will be plenty more leaks – accidental or otherwise, that will make their appearance from time to time down the road. Having said that, Lenovo’s CEO recently teased those who were quick enough to check his Weibo page with an image of what is deemed to be the next generation Moto 360 smartwatch, before it was deleted.

Motorola, which used to belong to Google, now has Lenovo as its boss. Lenovo’s CEO Yang Yuanqing’s personal Weibo page was the place where this teaser image was spotted, before it was deleted after the initial publication. Still, the window of opportunity which opened and then closed did give the masses a glimpse into what could very well be a very decent successor to the current smartwatch from Motorola, and it does roll back the years to depict that of a classical timepiece in terms of the design.

In the leaked image, there were also several strap options, including those that were made out of metal or leather. It also looks as though Lenovo/Motorola intend to work on deliver a slew of bezel options, where there were some which looked as though they were made out of gold, whereas others will resemble that of steel.
