Oppo N1 Receives Official Cyanogen CM11S ROM

oppo-n1The Oppo N1 rolled out a couple of years ago, and that particular model certainly captured the imagination of the masses thanks to an innovative rotating camera lens, in addition to top class hardware as well as Android 4.2 Jelly Bean as the operating system of choice, skinned with Oppo’s Color launcher, of course. The Oppo N1 also held the distinction of being the very first handset to be on the receiving end of an official Cyanogen treatment, thanks to a collaboration between Cyanogen and Oppo.

One was able to pick between the CM10.2 ROM that was based on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean version, or the default Color OS by Oppo. In addition, one will be able to make a switch between the other at any time of one’s picking. Well, today marks the official release of the CM11S (KitKat-based) ROM for the Oppo N1, where this new ROM will be able to support the O-Touch panel and O-Click remote, not to mention additional default Oppo apps.

For those who have an Oppo N1 that runs on Cyanogen and would want to make the switch to CyanogenMod now, perhaps this is the right time to get the job done. Any takers for Cyanogen CM11S?
