Both the Call of Duty and Battlefield franchises are extremely popular amongst FPS gamers and if you’re looking forward to the next Call of Duty installment which is expected to be developed by Treyarch, you might be interested to learn that the next Call of Duty title could very well be Black Ops 3.
This was first spotted by YouTuber Drift0r in which several images alluding to the game have found their way inside of Black Ops 2. The images point towards a Snapchat quick link which then links to the official Call of Duty account. All of this seems to hint that the developer could be getting ready to make some kind of announcement which some have speculated could be Black Ops 3.
In a way this doesn’t really come as a surprise since its usually around this time of the year that the next Call of Duty title is revealed, followed by more information that will be shared at E3 which is expected to take place in the middle of the year. Of course the next Call of Duty title could be just about anything, but given the success of the previous Black Ops titles, we’re sure many gamers are hoping to see some kind of continuation.
Interestingly enough it seems that the Snapchat quick link only appeared in the console version of the game and not the PC version, so we’re not sure if that means anything.
