Alleged Galaxy Note 5 Case Renders Surface

Samsung-Galaxy-Note5-Schema-02The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is expected to be announced later in the year at IFA 2015 which will be held in Berlin. Unfortunately not much is known about the handset for now save for rumored specs and whatnot, but thanks to the folks at Nowhereelse.fr (via SamMobile), they have managed to get their hands on what appears to be renderings of a case for the handset.

As you can see in the images above and below, these are renderings for a case designed for the Galaxy Note 5 in mind. We should note that these are not official cases meaning that whoever is making them could simply be basing the dimensions and design on rumors. However at the same time, there are some changes to the design of the phone that can be seen in these images.
For example one of the more telling changes in its design is the movement of the speaker. It has been shifted from the back of the phone to the bottom of the phone, similar to what Samsung has done with the Galaxy S6/S6 Edge. The flash unit has also been moved to the side of the camera as opposed to below it like in the Galaxy Note 4.

Other than that, the renders also shows its micro USB port so USB Type-C will not be used in Note 5, if the renders are accurate. Unfortunately apart from these more obvious changes, it is unclear as to what the rest of the phone looks like, but hopefully we will have more details at a later date, but until then do take it with a grain of salt.
