Sony Xperia Z5 Rumored For September Launched

sony xperia z4Word on the street has it that Sony could be working on new flagship smartphones in the form of the Sony Xperia Z5. In fact some of the handset’s specs were even outed in User Agent Profile. However thanks to additional information that has since been leaked, we now know a bit more about the upcoming handset.

Previously the report suggested we could be treated to a phone with a 1920×1080 display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset on board. Now according to the new information, those specs have since been “confirmed”, along with a 5.5-inch display, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It has also been rumored for a September launch.

The rumor goes on to claim that the Xperia Z5 will feature a 20.7MP rear-facing camera, an 8MP front-facing camera, and a built-in fingerprint scanner. With Android M featuring its own native fingerprint scanning system, we suppose it doesn’t come as a surprise if Sony were to take advantage of it, although at this point it is unclear as to when Android M will be released.

A launch in September also means that it is most likely planned for a reveal at IFA. There is also a small chance that the Xperia Z5 could be the rumored “Made for Bond” smartphone, but in any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but check back with us in the next couple of months for the details.
