Huawei Watch Expected To Be Released Soon

huawei-watch-live-1Earlier this year during MWC 2015, Huawei took the wraps off the Huawei Watch. We have to admit that while there are plenty of smartwatches in the market today, Huawei’s smartwatch offering is probably one of the more classy designs out there. Now unfortunately the company did not mention when the watch will be available, but it could be soon.

This is according to the official Huawei Watch page on Huawei’s website in which the company states that the device is “right around the corner”. Unfortunately apart from that teaser, it’s really anyone’s guess as to what dates we might be looking at. However IFA 2015 is coming up next month so perhaps Huawei will take the opportunity to launch the device then.

The watch is expected to be made available in more than 20 countries at launch which includes United States, United Kingdom, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Norway, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates.

Just in case you might have missed our earlier report, the Huawei Watch will be an Android Wear-based device. It will sport a 1.4-inch sapphire crystal AMOLED display and will be built out of stainless steel. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 512MB of RAM, a 300mAh battery, and will be available in black, gold, or silver. Pricing is still unknown at this point in time.
