DigiWorld Awards Call for Entries Deadline Sept. 30

This year IDATE is hosting, in partnership with Business France and the support of La French Tech, the very first DigiWorld Awards. This competition celebrates French talent around the world hosted by this year’s top of the range DigiWorld Summit, which, every year, gathers top executives and experts in the digital field of over 30 countries (150 top-tier speakers, 1200 participants).  As a reminder, the DigiWorld Summit will be held at Montpellier from 17^th-19^th November 2015.

The DigiWorld Awards are a great way to get the chance to know more about the many French entrepreneurs who have created their start-ups around the world, and to discover those who have been successful abroad, before maybe establishing themselves in France!

Having been in contact with a number of French start-ups and/ or innovators based abroad, could you please to transfer this email to anyone in your network that meets these specific guidelines.

• The businesses that wish to participate must meet the following guidelines:
• Must be created outside of France  by at least one French person without any activity or installment in France;
• Have its main activity in the digital field (tech): handsets and devices, networks and telecoms, internet services and applications (BtoC, BtoB..), M2M & IoT..
• No size limits

How to enter the competition

Step 1: The company fills out the application form before the 30th September (so the panel can deliberate mid-october)

Step 2: Send the application form to awards@digiworld.org

• What do they win? Mentoring and exposure in the programme of one of the four partners Accenture, Capgemini, Ericsson and Orange.  Specific exposure in the DigiWorld Summit communication supports (17-19^th Nov, 2015, Montpellier, France), a sense of community with the other participants and they are a part of the associated media plan. The prizewinners will be announced in October and will be invited to the DigiWorld Summit for an award ceremony with Axelle Lemaire.
