Sony has been hard at work developing a major new software update for PlayStation 4 and the company has finally confirmed that PS4 software version 3.0 is going to be publically released tomorrow. It brings several new features and improvements to the console, including some user interface enhancements. Sony today published a visual tour of the update to educate PS4 owners what they can expect from the version 3.0 update.

Some of the new features include the ability to broadcast gameplay live to YouTube, users will find a new icon for YouTube on the Broadcast Gameplay Screen after they hit the Share button. Livestreams can be shared directly to YouTube from the console and will be viewable across YouTube. It will also be possible to share video clips to Twitter directly following this update.

A new Hub for Events has been added to PS4 which is accessible from the home screen, this will give owners an overview of activities taking place in games that they play the most. Improvements have also been made to Messages and Favorite Groups to enhance the overall experience. Stickers will now be available in the Messages app to make chatting with friends even more fun.

There’s also a dedicated section now for PlayStation Plus which can be accessed by clicking on the big Plus icon on the top right corner of the PS4 home screen, it allows easy management of the PS Plus members, see free monthly games available for download as well as new deals for PS Plus members.
