razer-orochi-lifestyle-07There are plenty of gaming laptops out there. Many have pretty amazing specs but if there’s one thing many don’t have, it would be a good trackpad to game on. Then again, most gamers with gaming laptops tend to prefer using a regular mouse, but if you’d rather bring a full-sized mouse with you on the go, Razer’s got your back.

The company has recently announced that they have launched the redesigned Razer Orochi. Now for the most part, the Orochi can be used as a desktop mouse. However given its diminutive size, it has largely been designed for laptop users on the go. That being said despite its small size, it packs some pretty amazing specs.

For starters it will feature an 8,200 DPI sensor on board and a response time of 1ms. There is an option to go wireless via Bluetooth 4.0, although your response time will drop to 4ms. Whether or not you can tell the difference really depends. It will also feature Chroma lighting and a re-engineered shell with a metal top and rubberized side grips.

If you do go the wireless route, it will run on a pair of AA batteries which according to Razer, will last you 60 hours or 7 months of normal use. It is priced at $60 and can be pre-ordered now where it will begin shipping by the end of the month.
